Jeffrey L. Mason has been litigating civil, business and real estate cases in San Diego, California since 1974. He has long been a Martindale Hubbell A-V rated attorney and is perennially included in San Diego Magazine’s listing of top-rated attorneys in San Diego. He is a graduate of Stanford University and Stanford Law School and a former U.S. Army JAGC officer and Military Judge who was awarded a Bronze Star for his service in Vietnam and a Meritorious Service Medal for his service as a Military Judge. He has been a litigator an arbitrator, a mediator, and a Judge Pro-Tem in San Diego. He has served as an elected member of the Board of Directors and as Vice-President of both the San Diego County Bar Association and of the Lawyers Club of San Diego. Mr. Mason served on the Board of Trustees of Francis W. Parker School for ten years and chaired that Board for three years. He has successfully handled hundreds of cases as a lead lawyer, supervising teams including partners, associates, and paralegals to prepare and try primarily business and real estate (including construction defect and class action) cases in both state and federal courts, including the Bankruptcy Court. Mr. Mason has arbitrated and mediated cases in and for the American Arbitration Association, the Superior Court, the U.S. District Court and privately. He is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the California Supreme Court (i.e., all California courts), the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit, and U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Central, and Southern Districts of California.
